Jolly Grant is the closest airport in Dehradun. The airport is well connected by daily flights from Delhi making it easier for you. The motorable roads are only connected up to Govindghat.
- By Train
Rishikesh is the nearest railway station but the motorable roads are connected only upto Govindghat. To reach Govindghat, you will find taxis and buses from here.
- By Road
The closest you can get to the Valley of Flowers is Govindghat. You will have to drive from Joshimath from Dehradun and then another one hour to reach Govindghat.
